The museum was full of pictures and alot of them really sad. I will spare the deep descriptions. But it was a war, a terrible war and bad things happened. Yeah..a bummer.
ok moving on...next stop we headed to the Mother of the Ocean Temple. This is a sea goddess that protect sailors and fishermen. This is her temple in HCM's Chinatown area aka Cho Lon.
Next we went to the Binh Tay Wholesale Market...it is crazy inside and you can buy whatever you want...just as long as you buy at least 100 or so...
We then headed to the Reunification Palace...where the president of VN lived etc.
last stops Notre Dame Cathedral one the oldest churches in the country, every brick was brought in from France to build it. Pretty awesome church.
Post office
that was it...another long day but filled with cool things, sites and learnings.
Tomorrow is Thanksgiving over here and I found a local restaurant that is hosting a "Traditional Thanksgiving" buffet for $28USD. Not too bad, so I am going to go there! I also get my suits back from the tailor too. Exciting!
