What a Saturday! Today was one of "those" mornings. I knew it was going to be hard as our usual trainer was out so my other buddy Brandon subbed. Of course Brandon has a different style and he can program some painful WODs...and today was no different.
Woke up around 745AM, got ready and had 12oz of N.O. Xplode pre workout drink on an empty stomach and headed to the gym.
We killed it. Here is the work out:
Run/Jog/Walk around room
Lunges, Spiderman Lunges, Duck Walks
couple sets back and forth of the room of the above.
75 x Burpees
15 x presses (30lb dumbbells)
25 x situps
35 x squats
5 rounds of the above
50 x box jumps/step ups (4 risers each side)
*Rx was 75 for most/50 for others I am in the others category
STRETCHING - DONE. 9:30AM
It was crazy..who the hell does 75 Burpees? I guess I did and so did the rest of the class.
Then I was a GOOD BOY and finished up with a great breakfast. Went to Whole Foods up the street and had:
Breakfast Burrito on whole wheat tortilla
- Egg Whites
- Turkey Sausage
Picked up some Think Thin protein bars for home. I like Think Thins - White Chocolate as it has 20g protein, is gluten and sugar free. So def a "better" protein bar.
